How do you feel about the death penalty? I oppose the death penalty as punishment for any crime. I favor the death penalty as a possible punishment for murders that are committed under aggravating circumstances by dangerous persons. I favor the death penalty as a possible punishment for extremely serious non-homicidal felonies with aggravating circumstances, e.g., rape of a child or acts of terrorism (each with serious bodily injury) by dangerous persons.
